FRESH Networks is revolutionizing the global dairy industry by offering a smart end-to-end distribution solution that makes safe milk accessible to low-income families. Incubated within KOKO Networks for three years, we built a strong foundation and industry credibility while developing our innovative hardware and software. Our system enables dairy companies to safely retail unpackaged milk in flexible quantities directly to households through a dense network of smart dispensing machines, an IoT-enabled cold chain, and a suite of cloud-based operations, payments, and customer management applications. By enabling dairy companies to sell directly to consumers, integrating real-time monitoring, and enabling digital payments, our solution creates a pathway for formal dairies to compete with dominant informal vendors on every front. Since our pilot launch in October 2022, we have validated our model by selling over 170,000 liters of milk through 400,000 transactions and achieving a 70% conversion rate from informal to formal channels. Headquartered in London, UK with operations in Kenya and Rwanda, our approach delivers measurable sustainability and social impact, reducing plastic waste and improving nutrition for underserved communities as we scale regionally.
