Andrei Cursaru

Andrei I. Cursaru leads nexus. Group AI as its Founder and CEO, driving the development of innovative artificial intelligence solutions to improve strategic decision-making across various sectors. He is also the Managing Partner at PeaceTech Hub, where he focuses on leveraging DeepTech to foster societal resilience and sustainability through technology-driven solutions for peacebuilding and conflict resolution. In addition, he is the Founding President and Chairman of the Board at the Centre for Youth and International Studies (CYIS), a think-tank that provides R&D on current and emerging threats.

With a background as a Security and Defense Attaché at international organizations such as NATO and the EU, Andrei applies his extensive experience to enhance AI technologies that anticipate and mitigate strategic shocks to critical cross-sectoral and domain infrastructure.

As an alumnus of the University of Warwick and an influential strategic foresight author, Andrei's expertise in international security is instrumental in guiding nexus.
