Jose Alcocer

Jose Alcocer is the Head of SDGx Acceleration at the WFP Innovation Accelerator. His role is to expand the impact of WFP and its partners, by creating a platform for innovation and collaboration for the broader humanitarian ecosystem to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Since its inception in 2019, SDGx has implemented more than 30 accelerator programmes supporting over 250 ventures in 79 countries, in co-creation with partners across governments, UN entities, corporates and NGOs. Jose has 20 years of experience at the intersection of entrepreneurship, innovation and social impact.
