About me
Elena believes in the transformative power of impact investing and social enterprise movement; she is an advocate and practitioner of gender smart investing. She is partner and CEO of OPES Italia Sicaf EuVECA that invests in impact enterprises in Italy and co-founder and chairwoman of OPES-LCEF, an umbrella of impact investment vehicles that since 2012 have supported early stage social enterprises whose businesses serve low income people and disadvantaged communities.Previously, after her 2 years Monbusho fellowship in Japan, she worked in investment banking and development cooperation.
