Climate change is altering the distribution and intensity of mosquito-borne diseases (MBDs) such as malaria, dengue, and West Nile virus, with Europe already experiencing early warning signals of outbreaks. Meeting these challenges demands coordinated surveillance, integrated vector management, vaccine innovation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to protect public health.
