About
As the only professional body dedicated to the aerospace, aviation, and space communities, we work to advance aeronautical art, science, and engineering worldwide.
Established in 1866, the Society has long been at the forefront of aerospace development, promoting high professional standards and providing a central forum for knowledge exchange. Today, we have over 25,000 members and more than 60 Branches, Divisions and Specialist Groups globally, offering access to valuable networking opportunities, events, and specialist resources.
Our annual programme of conferences, seminars, and technical visits features leading industry experts. Highlights include our flagship defence event, the RAeS Future Air and Space Defence Summit, with sponsorship opportunities available.
Alongside journals, papers, and blogs, our award-winning AEROSPACE magazine provides high-quality coverage of the sector and offers both editorial and advertising opportunities to reach a targeted audience of aerospace and engineering professionals.
The Society also plays an active role in shaping policy and public debate through expert policy briefings and regular contributions to government consultations, working closely with decision-makers, regulators, and institutions to address key challenges facing the aerospace sector.
