S.I.ME., founded in 1950, is a family-owned company and an EN9100-certified manufacturer serving the Aerospace & Defense industry since 1980. Built on a passion for precision mechanics, we specialize in the machining of complex medium-sized components (up to 400 × 400 mm / 16" × 16") through advanced CNC turning and up-to-5-axis milling capabilities.

Our in-house CNC grinding equipment and dedicated deburring department enable us to achieve extremely tight tolerances and superior surface finishes. Additional capabilities include thread rolling and a network of NADCAP-approved special processes, such as Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Heat Treatment, and Passivation, allowing us to deliver fully finished products manufactured under S.I.M.E. quality standards.

Over more than 70 years of experience, we have expanded our expertise by establishing an MRO repair station that supports a variety of aerospace customers. Today, S.I.M.E. components are installed on some of the world's leading fixed-wing and rotary-wing aerospace and defense platforms, including the Airbus A350, Airbus A320neo, Airbus A220, Embraer E2, COMAC C919, Boeing 777X, Eurofighter Typhoon, Panavia Tornado, AgustaWestland AW109, Agusta A129 Mangusta, Leonardo AW169, Leonardo AW189, and the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II.

Our Manufacturing Engineering team works closely with customers from the earliest stages of product development, supporting collaborative design and Design for Manufacturing (DfM) initiatives. By addressing manufacturing strategies from the initial concept phase, we help optimize product performance, cost efficiency, and production readiness, ensuring a smoother transition from design to serial production.
