Seeking US$1.5M for OSTAAT™ via SAFE / Convertible Note
Founder and CEO at KAT Innovation
Montreal, Canada
About
KAT Innovation is currently seeking US$1.5M in seed financing, structured through a SAFE or convertible note, to advance the next stage of development of OSTAAT™, our non-invasive wearable bone-health technology.
OSTAAT™ is designed to deliver low-intensity electrical stimulation through a smart garment to support bone health at the hip and lower spine. The technology is being developed for people at risk of bone loss and fragility fractures, while also offering strong long-term potential for space-health and microgravity-related bone-loss applications.
The financing sought will support key value-inflection milestones, including product development, prototype optimization, validation activities, regulatory preparation, and strategic commercial readiness. In parallel, we are also actively seeking non-dilutive grant opportunities, particularly those aligned with aerospace, space medicine, health innovation, wearable technologies, and breakthrough medical devices.
