MUX Bus (1553) Interface Modules

VEmbed designs and manufactures high-performance MUX Bus Interface (MBI) cards built around the MIL-STD-1553B avionics data bus standard. Our MBI architecture provides a reliable bridge between the host CPU and the 1553B bus across a range of form factors and channel configurations, supporting the full spectrum of operational modes required in modern defense and aerospace systems.

Our MBI product line spans 3U VME, 6U VME, and PMC form factors with two, three, and four channel configurations. All cards support Bus Controller (BC) and Remote Terminal (RT) operation, with select models additionally offering Monitor Terminal (MT) and dual RT capability on fully redundant channels — making them well-suited for safety-critical applications where data integrity and fault tolerance are paramount.
