Industrial Process Automation and Optimisation for Hydrogen Manufacturing
Senior Researcher at IDENER.AI

About
IDENER.AI offers a comprehensive collaboration package for developing hydrogen systems (electrolysers, fuel cells, compressors, storage) that need to automate and optimise their manufacturing or testing processes. Our team is experienced in the application of digital twins, real-time process control, robotic integration, and Modelica‑based physical simulation (using tools such as OpenModelica) combined with finite‑element and multiphysics simulation (COMSOL Multiphysics). These capabilities allow us to reduce cycle times, increase production yield, and lower unit costs across the manufacturing chain.
We have participated in numerous European R&D projects (H2020, Horizon Europe, LIFE, Interreg) where we delivered automation and optimisation solutions to industrial partners in the energy, chemical and metallurgical sectors. Through this track record, we are well positioned to support your project from TRL 6 up to TRL 9, and we can also assist in the proposal writing process itself, helping to structure the work plan, define KPIs, and align the project with IH-MIE evaluation criteria.
