GAIKER Technology Centre

GAIKER is a technology centre member of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance (BRTA), focused on generating and transferring knowledge to improve the competitiveness of industry through applied research and technological innovation.

GAIKER develops sustainable solutions in advanced materials, polymers, composites, biotechnology, recycling and circular economy. In the field of sustainable functional polymers, the centre works on the development of bio-based materials, renewable feedstocks valorisation, green chemistry, coatings, adhesives, composites and advanced polymeric systems for industrial applications.

The organisation actively supports the transition towards a circular bioeconomy through the development of renewable and low-carbon materials, resource efficiency strategies, recycling technologies, eco-design &SSbD approaches and the valorisation of biomass-derived streams. GAIKER has extensive experience in collaborative national and European R&D projects, including Horizon Europe and CBE JU initiatives, working with companies, research organisations and public stakeholders throughout the entire innovation value chain.

At IFIB, GAIKER is interested in establishing partnerships with feedstock suppliers, technology providers, industrial end-users, research organisations and innovation-driven companies seeking collaboration opportunities in renewable materials, bio-based polymers, industrial biotechnology and circular value chains.
