i-ALE microbial strain improvements

As part of Aalto Univeristy (Helsinki), the Intelligent ALE team obtained significant grant funding to push it’s technology to commercialization. The i-ALE project runs from June '26 to Feb '28 and will be improving 6 to 9 microbial strains throughout. 

We are looking for commercial partners with real world use cases that can result in significant value creation. 

An ideal use case has a context in which i-ALE's advantages can be leveraged:  

• The genetic architecture is unknown, and/or  

• The synthesis pathways are complex, and/or  

• The interesting features are not (or inversely) linked to cell fitness, and/or  

• Screening large numbers of outcomes is difficult and expensive, and/or  

• A non-GMO label is desirable 

Commercial partners don’t need to provide funding. Partners can purchase the improved strain (result) after the project but are in no obligation to do so.
