IFIB 2026
ITA Biotech Investment Initiative
In collaboration with ITA - Italian Trade Agency
Connecting Italian innovation with global capital
As part of IFIB 2026, we are proud to introduce an exclusive initiative designed to bridge the gap between the Italian biotechnology ecosystem and the global investment community. Organized in partnership with ITA - Italian Trade Agency, this initiative offers a unique stage for Italian companies to showcase their projects to a hand-picked delegation of international investors and venture capitalists.
To ensure the highest quality of matching, participation in this initiative is subject to a selection process managed via the b2match platform.
How to participate in the initiative
When registering for IFIB 2026, Italian entities must select one of the dedicated registration categories:
-
Italian bioeconomy startup seeking investors
-
Italian bioeconomy company seeking investors
Note: These registration tracks require more detailed information than a standard profile. This comprehensive data is essential to allow international investors to preview your projects, evaluate your business potential, and pre-select the most promising profiles for one-on-one, on-site meetings in Rome.
Why participate?
Beyond the on-site meetings, this initiative offers unprecedented visibility. Starting from mid-April, ITA will promote the participating Italian profiles across more than 30 international markets to identify and invite foreign stakeholders specifically interested in your technologies and business models.
