KAISAR, the world's first male home care device

Our global first male home care device, KAISAR, is an LED health care electronic device that is worn on the male penis and testicles to increase sperm motility, erectile stiffness, and testosterone levels through care for 15 minutes a day. Currently, we have domestic and international patents and trademarks, KC, FCC, and CE certifications. There are studies that show that sperm motility is enhanced by increasing ATP activity in mitochondria through light irradiation with specific wavelengths (~630nm, ~880nm). In addition, enhancement of erectile stiffness through an increase in Nitric Oxide level and increase in testosterone through activation of Leydig cells in the testicles responsible for producing testosterone have been reported in several places. We, too, have conducted research at a university hospital in Korea and have related results.

Photobiomodulation (PBM) electronic medicine technology is a field in which about 7,000 papers have been reported. There is a chromophore (Cytochrome C oxidase) that absorbs red (630 nm) wavelengths in mitochondria, one of the organelles of cells. Cytochrome c oxidase triggers the activity of various molecules such as nitric oxide, ATP, calcium ions, and ROS species. In the case of the near-infrared region (880 nm), Ca2+ levels increase through activation of ion channels, and ROS and cAMP interact with calcium ions.

A device that takes care of men's health by applying photobiomodulation (PBM) electronic medicine technology has not yet been released globally. In the meantime, we have been conducting research related to photobiomodulation together with specialists at university hospitals in Korea. Regarding this product, there are 1 Korean patent registration, 6 Korean applications, 2 PCT applications, 2 Madrid international trademark applications, 1 Chinese trademark registration, and 2 European trademark registrations. In addition, we are preparing for patent entry in the US, China, Japan, and European PCT countries.

In August 2023, the product will be showcased for the first time on the US crowdfunding site Indiegogo. In addition, based on a wide range of intellectual property rights, we are negotiating overseas expansion with buyers from Europe, Japan, Qatar, UAE, Vietnam, and Russia.​​​
