KATLAS Technology is a UK SME helping Horizon consortia coordinate complex multi-partner projects where data, responsibility and authority remain distributed across organisations.

We provide CAROPS — runtime operational governance for Custody, Authority, Requirements, Operational decisions and Sign-off — particularly where underlying data cannot, should not or need not be centralised.

KATLAS can contribute through two meaningful work-package roles:

• Project coordination / CAROPS: helping coordinators govern roles, evidence, dependencies, authority, AI-supported decisions, exceptions and cross-partner handoffs.

• Asset / journey coordination: providing the trusted information layer around a real product, asset or service journey — for example assisted mobility, connected passenger/baggage/medication, freight aggregation, circular materials or product/battery passports.

Our approach is to start with one bounded, measurable proof, demonstrate operational value, then scale the same pattern across the wider project roadmap.

KATLAS has demonstrators across health, mobility, freight, finance and industrial workflows and combines verifiable credentials, privacy-preserving proofs, authority controls and signed operational receipts with existing partner systems.

We are looking for proactive Horizon coordinators, RTOs and industrial/public-sector problem owners building projects where several independent organisations must work together safely.

The intended outcome is not just a demonstrator, but a reusable, licensable operating blueprint for replication and exploitation beyond the funded project.
