GEOSAT GROUP

GEOSAT Group is a 600-person geospatial engineering group operating in France, Spain and Portugal. We produce high-precision 3D data on the infrastructure that underpins the energy and mobility transition: road and rail corridors, electricity and gas networks, water and district heating, ports, airports, dams and industrial sites.

Our services combine mobile mapping vehicles, UAV and aerial survey, static laser scanning, ground-penetrating radar for buried networks, bathymetry and structural monitoring, with in-house AI for point-cloud processing and automated vectorisation. Deliverables include HD maps for automated road and rail operation, BIM/CIM models, infrastructure digital twins, utility registers, and repeat-survey change detection.

In research projects, we are capable to define and run acquisition campaigns on live infrastructure, process this data to deliver reference and ground-truth datasets, and provide access to operational validation sites rather than test tracks. As a regulated chartered-surveyor practice, we engage legal responsibility on the accuracy of delivered data, so our outputs can be used as certified reference.

We participated to numerous national and EU collaborative research projects, such as the H2020/EUSPA project GAMMS (autonomous mobile mapping with Galileo HAS and OSNMA, validated at TRL 6-7 in Graz) or Europe's Rail FP2-R2DATO. Clients include SNCF, Enedis, GRDF, Veolia, Suez, Vinci and Bordeaux Métropole.

We are looking for technical partner roles in consortia requiring real-world geospatial data at scale, combined with development work on acquisition and processing methods.
