INNOPARK was established under the leadership of Konya Chamber of Industry with the vision of becoming an internationally renowned science park that plays an important role in the innovation-based growth of the regional economy. Innopark has a unique structure with the cooperation of 7 universities and 15 private sector companies located in the Organised Industrial Zone, which stands out with its focus on technological production. Our private sector companies are among the leading companies in the sector in areas such as automotive, machinery, agriculture, food and automation. The objectives of Innopark are to create employment opportunities for qualified human resources by implementing university-industry cooperation effectively and efficiently, to contribute to growth through R&D and innovation in production, and to contribute to export-oriented growth by encouraging technology-intensive and high-value entrepreneurship. Organised industrial zone is a type of zone which is specially planned and included in the zoning plans in order to ensure the efficiency of the industry and regular settlement in the city, which gathers industrial facilities together and provides facilities related to infrastructure and requirements of industrial establishments such as transportation, urban soil, energy, fuel, water, industrial wastewater treatment plant, raw materials, as well as implementing waste management policies in order to minimise the negative effects of industry on the environment.
