Reconstruction and modernization of logistics complexes in Ukraine

We propose to create a pilot project "Reconstruction and modernization of logistics complexes of Ukraine (of which up to 20% have been destroyed in the Kyiv region alone) - using peak/seasonal long-term, economical ($0.05/kWh) accumulation (with a density of 90 Wh/kg) of excess solar and wind electricity in the form of ice for cooling, air conditioning, ventilation and heat for heating systems. For the first time, we used the phenomenon of water crystallization to create an aerothermal renewable energy source - to produce ice and heat. Our COOL ENERGY installation, created according to this principle, was tested in operational conditions (TRL5) even before the war. We have publications in Ukraine and the USA, including Ukrainian patents. The resulting solutions formed the basis of our projects. Used sources: - frosty air, which we receive in cold regions from the atmosphere (minus 50 - 10 degrees C), in regions with a moderate climate - from refrigerating units operating on excess solar/wind electricity, - a small amount of water. Production, storage, and transportation (over any distance by water and land) of ice from the place of its receipt takes place in thermally insulated containers. Remains of melted water can be used for household and economic needs. Our contribution to the pilot project is participation in the solution of technical issues related to the creation of an innovative energy system, development, and testing of a prototype of the COOL ENERGY installation for a specific project, performance of heat engineering calculations for all sections of the project, patenting of the resulting solutions.
