During the visit to Simurghy, you will gain a unique insight into the world of advanced surgical simulation for cardiac surgery. Simurghy develops and produces innovative simulators that help surgeons improve their skills and better prepare for (complex) procedures—ultimately aiming to improve patient outcomes.

You will discover how more than ten years of clinical and technological development, originating from an idea by cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Sardarinia (MUMC+), has led to a commercial product now used in 28 countries worldwide. During the visit, the simulators will be demonstrated, and you will learn more about the technologies that enable realistic, future-oriented, and ultimately patient-specific training models.
