Mark Bustard

Mark became CEO of IBioIC in February 2020, after serving as Commercial Director, where he drove the commercial strategy to foster collaborations and support industry, academia, and government in biotechnology commercialisation. Before IBioIC, he was Business Development Director at CPI’s National Biologics Manufacturing Centre, a £38M facility focused on biologics development. He also held roles at the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), supporting medicines manufacturing and industry collaborations. Mark has experience coordinating research programmes, such as BRIC, and previously held senior academic roles at Heriot-Watt University. His background includes biomanufacturing, development, and consultancy across various sectors.
