HYTING provides hydrogen-based heating solutions for buildings and industrial processes that are emission-free and economically viable. In peak-load heating for buildings, HYTING enables customers to reduce costs from day one. In industrial process heat up to 300 °C, the company offers a CO₂- and NOx-free alternative to conventional technologies, helping to eliminate Scope-1-emissions.
At the core of these applications is a catalytic heat generator, where hydrogen reacts flamelessly with oxygen from ambient air and releases heat. This process produces no harmful emissions: no CO₂, CO, NOx, VOCs, or particulate matter.
In buildings, a handful of cold days drives much of the annual heating bill. HYTING covers exactly those peaks in a hybrid system, while a heat pump — or any other source — carries the base load. Customers can then reduce their grid connection capacity and cut demand charges considerably, and size the heat pump for normal operation instead of the coldest day, so it runs continuously at its most efficient operating point. CAPEX and OPEX both fall from day one.
In industry, HYTING supplies process heat up to 300 °C — for drying, coating, curing, baking, roasting or cooking. The systems fit new plants and existing ones alike, replacing fossil heat sources and taking a substantial share of Scope 1 emissions out of the process.
HYTING also improves energy security where electrical capacity is limited or unavailable. The systems are retrofit-ready, available with short lead times, approved under the Gas Appliances Regulation (GAR), and proven in a 2,500-hour endurance test. They operate flamelessly and are therefore inherently safe. Projects can be delivered turnkey, from initial analysis through to implementation. The first customers installations have been commissioned and are in operation as of Q1 2026.
HYTING was founded in 2021 and is based in Wiesbaden, Germany. The company is run by a leadership team with decades of experience in the engineering sector.
