Happy Plant Protein is building the next infrastructure for plant-based food. We have developed a patented, single-step extrusion technology that turns local cereal and legume flours directly into high-performance protein, without water-intensive wet fractionation, chemicals, or waste streams. Our technology enables food manufacturers to produce better-tasting, better-functioning plant protein with dramatically lower cost, energy use, and environmental footprint. Fully compatible with existing dry extrusion lines, it unlocks decentralized production and local value creation at global scale. As a spin-off from VTT, we combine deep scientific roots with a scalable, royalty-based business model. We don’t build factories, we empower them. By licensing our technology and co-developing ingredients with partners, we aim to make sustainable, affordable plant protein the new global standard for food.
