Uray Technologies

Uray is an AI-native urine diagnostics startup developing reagent-free, point-of-care solutions for rapid urine screening and remote health monitoring.

Our platform combines optical sensing, computer vision and machine learning to turn routine urine samples into fast, structured health insights. Uray can work through a dedicated urine analyzer for clinical workflows, as well as through a lightweight photo-based approach for consumer, home-care, toilet-based and remote-monitoring use cases.

We are currently focused on practical pilot deployments in three areas:

1. Decentralized urine screening for GP clinics, outpatient settings and remote diagnostic kiosks.

2. Photo-based hydration and urine health monitoring from toilet-bowl or sample-container images.

3. Early abnormality flagging and follow-up support for renal and urinary conditions, including workflows where urine data can help clinicians act earlier while standard laboratory confirmation remains in place.

Uray’s device and application have already been developed and small butch manufacturing established, and the company has completed pre-clinical validation using data from more than 1800 patients. Clinical validation has been registered.

For HRC Open Innovation Challenge 2026, we are looking for hospitals, healthcare providers, smart-kiosk operators, toilet/sanitary companies and digital health partners interested in testing Uray in real-world workflows. We are open to proof-of-concept pilots, clinical workflow validation, co-development, data partnerships and integration with existing healthcare platforms.

Our goal is simple: make urine analysis faster, more accessible and more data-rich — without relying on traditional reagent-heavy workflows.
