Science and Technology Park as an Area of Innovation

"Areas of innovation" are places designed and curated to attract entrepreneurial-minded people, skilled talent, knowledge-intensive businesses and investments, by developing and combining a set of infrastructural, institutional, scientific, technological, educational and social assets, together with value added services, thus enhancing sustainable economic development and prosperity with and for the community.

A science park is an organisation managed by specialised professionals, whose main aim is to increase the wealth of its community by promoting the culture of innovation and the competitiveness of its associated businesses and knowledge-based institutions.At the same time, STP Novi Sad provide startups with the proper resources and support to jumpstart their growth. Some such resources include access to expert mentors, funding and investors, peer mentorship, workspaces, and technology for product development.

STP goals:

• Providing infrastructure support

• Attracting innovative technology development companies

• Encouraging the development of scientific research organizations, primarily the University of Novi Sad, through joint research with technology companies

• Creating conditions and creating an environment for the development of innovative startup companies

• Creation and development of new innovative products, services and processes using advanced and innovative technologies

• Employment of young educated staff, as well as creating conditions for the gaining experts from abroad.
