PI Agricultural Institute of Republic of Srpska

The Agricultural Institute of Republika Srpska Banja Luka was founded on July 3, 1947 under the name Agricultural Institute. The Institute has its own business facilities and administrative building, as well as modern and functionally equipped laboratories, which enable the Institute to follow current scientific and research trends in the field of agriculture. In addition, the Institute owns its own land areas and accompanying machinery for carrying out experiments and seed production, as well as its own processing center. In order to work more efficiently, the activities of the Institute are defined through the work of nine departments, namely: Department for Small Grains, Department for Maize, Department for Industrial Plants, Department for Forage Plants, Department for Vegetables, Department for Fruit and Viticulture, Department for Plant Protection , seed production and biotechnology, the Department for Agroecology and the Department for Animal Husbandry.
