Association for Responsible and Sustainable Development

Association for Responsible and Sustainable Development (UZOR) is an independent, non-governmental, and non-profit organization based in Montenegro, dedicated to advancing sustainable development through research, public policy, education, advocacy, and community engagement. Founded in 2019, UZOR brings together experts from diverse disciplines to support the transition toward a more sustainable, inclusive, and democratic society.

Our work focuses on accelerating a just green transition by promoting circular economy principles, climate action, environmental protection, and responsible resource management. We design and implement projects that empower local communities, strengthen institutional capacity, and foster innovation for sustainable development.

Beyond environmental sustainability, UZOR actively works to strengthen democratic governance, media freedom, digital rights, gender equality, youth participation, and evidence-based public policymaking. Through research, policy analysis, training programs, public campaigns, and multi-stakeholder partnerships, we contribute to reforms that improve both society and the environment.

Through regional and European initiatives—including Erasmus+, Interreg ADRION, Interreg Danube, and democracy-support programs—we contribute to knowledge exchange and the implementation of innovative practices across Southeast Europe.
