The Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Continental Environments (LIEC) is a public research institution jointly supervised by the Université de Lorraine and CNRS.

LIEC ovearching mission is to understand and model continental ecosystems strongly impacted by anthropogenic pressures. Five research teams work to advance fundamental knowledge on topics related to climate change, one health, biodiversity, zero pollution and planet habitability.
