About
ADVID is a Stakeholder Association within the vine and wine sector.
ADVID (the Association for the Development of Viticulture in the Douro Region) is a non-profit organisation, established in 1982 with the aim of contributing to the modernisation of viticulture and, consequently, to the increased profitability of vineyards in the Demarcated Douro Region and to the improved quality of its wines.
The association's mission is to promote the sustainable development of winemaking in the Douro region and at a national level, within a context of cooperation and networking, as well as transfer of the knowledge achieved through research and experimentation carried out within the scope of ADVID's activities.
