I am a CNRS researcher working in the field of electrochemical sensors for on-site detection and monitoring.

My organisation

The Laboratory of Physical Chemistry and Microbiology for Materials and the Environment (LCPME) is a multidisciplinary unit which focuses its research on the study of mineral and biological interfaces in aqueous environments. The main objective aims to better understand the reactivity of solid surfaces (mineral phases, organo-mineral hybrids, nanomaterials or biological objects) in contact with aqueous media, with the desire to take into account the structural and reaction heterogeneities of the systems studied at different spatial scales, and with potential repercussions in the field of environment and materials. The unit combines disciplines relating to physico-chemistry (spectroscopies and electrochemistry) and microbiology (microbial interfaces and adhesion of microorganisms).

About me

I have been a CNRS researcher at the Laboratory of Physical Chemistry and Microbiology for Materials and the Environment (CNRS-Université de Lorraine) since 2011. I am a specialist in analytical electrochemistry, in electrochemistry at liquid-liquid interfaces, micro-manufacturing processes, and surface modification. Graduated of a PhD in 2004 (University College Cork, Ireland), I have a 20-year experience in the field of sensors development. I have participated in several European Projects (DIMDESOTOM, FP5, GoodFood, FP6, SHOAL, BOND, FP7). I have been the coordinator of several national research projects.
