National University Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic

NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» has 13 faculties; 58 departments; 9 teaching and laboratory buildings with up-to-date equipment; 4 hostels able to accommodate 2200 persons; a library with more than one million volumes of literature; developed information network with connection to the global computer system of Internet and network of Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science; computer printing house; two sports-health centers; sports and nutrition complexes, etc. The teaching staff numbers over 770 persons, 520 of whom have scientific degrees and academic ranks; 27 faculty members are active and/or correspondent members of the National Academy of Science and branch academies of Ukraine; 29 persons were awarded state honors and laureates of the state prizes. NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» develops professionals in 48 specialties. At present the University numbers over 10500 students, 7500 of whom are full-time students. NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» has been collaborating with European universities within various international projects. The university closely collaborates with enterprises "Zaporizhstal", DSS, Motor Sich, State Employment center, State Department of Labor and Social Protection, and others.
