Project: TankSense 360® – Smart Chemical-Resistant Tanks for Circular Industry

Amargo, a Polish manufacturer with over 20 years of experience in producing chemical-resistant tanks and industrial installations, invites partners to collaborate on a pioneering project aimed at extending the lifespan of industrial tanks and implementing real-time monitoring of their technical condition.

This initiative aligns with the principles of circular economy, carbon footprint reduction, and the evolution of Industry 4.0 and 5.0 through predictive maintenance of tank-related and process installations.

Project Goals:

• Extend the lifecycle of chemical-resistant tanks through advanced diagnostics and predictive maintenance strategies.

• Integrate sensors and monitoring systems (e.g. radar, ultrasonic, weld quality indicators, leak and overflow detectors) into tank structures for continuous condition assessment.

• Utilize eco-friendly materials (e.g. styrene-free resins, composite liners) to support European Green Deal objectives and industrial decarbonization.

• Develop and deploy TankSense 360®, a predictive monitoring system that enables proactive decision-making regarding tank servicing, repair, or replacement.

• Enhance the safety and reliability of surrounding installations through automation, IoT, and integration with control systems (AKPiA, BIM).
