CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENT

Center for Environment is an organization that is  clearly focused on environmental issues since  its founding and beggining of activity. It was founded in 1999, with the aim to influence and contribute to the improvement of the environment through its active and proactive actions.

We are based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with extensive experience in biodiversity conservation, field research and environmental advocacy. The organisation works on the conservation of old-growth forests, large carnivores, karst poljes, rivers and threatened species and collaborates with researchers, public authorities, protected-area managers and local communities.
