nationalpark authority Schleswig-Holstein (LKN.SH)

The nationalpark authority is responsible for the monitoring of all ecosystem components in the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea. It is reponsible for the environmental status assessment in context of different national and international directives. It ensure the protection of nature and natural processes and to reconcile this with the interests of different users (fishing, tourism etc.). It assesses uses, projects and building plans, grants permits and develops conservation strategies.
