I am an Industrial Designer and founder of Circulab, a Patagonia-based initiative in southern Chile focused on biomaterials, circular bioeconomy, sustainable design and nature-based innovation.
My work operates at the intersection of design, science, technology and environmental regeneration, exploring how locally available biological resources and organic waste streams can be transformed into sustainable materials, products and new circular systems.
I have experience in digital fabrication, applied materials research, biomaterial prototyping, environmental education and community-based sustainability initiatives. My current interests include marine ecosystem restoration, bioinspired coastal structures, kelp forest ecosystems, microplastic monitoring, wool-based biomaterials and nature-positive innovation.
Through Circulab and collaborative projects with academic institutions, environmental organisations, local communities and public-sector actors, I aim to develop and test context-specific solutions that connect scientific knowledge with practical implementation.
I am particularly interested in joining international research and innovation consortia working on biodiversity, ecosystem restoration, circular bioeconomy, nature-based solutions and regenerative approaches to territorial development, with a focus on the unique ecological and social contexts of Chilean Patagonia.
