Agritech Center

Agritech Center is the National Research Centre for Technology in Agriculture, one of the five National Research Centres established under Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), based in Naples at the University of Naples Federico II.

Agritech connects two worlds. On one side is research: universities, research institutions and more than 800 professors and researchers, with expertise ranging from digital and precision agriculture to smart technologies, traceability, sustainable livestock farming and the bioeconomy. On the other side are companies and supply chains, with their real innovation needs. Agritech acts as the hub between them, supported by a network of laboratories, experimental farms and living labs where research and industry develop and test solutions together.

Our Innovation Brokers make this connection work in practice. They know the expertise across the network, monitor public funding opportunities, and link those with a need or an idea to the researchers and partners able to develop it.

For anyone working on European projects, Agritech is a partner for identifying expertise, consortium partners and testing environments on agrifood and digital agriculture topics. We are happy to arrange introductory calls to explore possible collaborations.
