About
Reversa S.r.l. is a European environmental intelligence company based in Turin, Italy. It is the European implementation entity of LandPrint, a nature risk intelligence platform recognised by the TNFD as one of 12 enabling technologies worldwide. Reversa brings the LandPrint methodology into research and innovation projects, grant programmes and multi-actor partnerships across Europe, working with public institutions, research bodies, companies, financial actors and civil society.
EU frameworks such as the Nature Restoration Regulation, the Biodiversity Strategy 2030, the EUDR and the CRCF set binding targets that depend on verified environmental data, while public programmes and private capital increasingly require measurable impact to allocate resources. Most organisations still lack the capacity to generate verified, comparable farm- and landscape-level data on soil, water, biodiversity and carbon.
LandPrint measures, monitors and analyses environmental assets across six dimensions: soil, water, biodiversity, carbon, land use and economic performance. It combines field and remote-sensing data and follows a Measure, Analyse, Translate logic: from field to verified data, from data to risk intelligence, and from intelligence to decisions. Each indicator is scored against its maximum achievable potential, defined by reference field measurements, scientific formulas or legal thresholds, so the gap to potential becomes a concrete action list. Outputs are aligned with TNFD, CSRD, EUDR and CRCF.
The platform also links ecological conditions to productive and financial outcomes through correlation and causal analysis, with machine-learning prediction as the next step. It quantifies the benefits of transition: yield gains, price premiums, carbon revenues, lower input and financing costs, and avoided nature and climate losses. A financial layer translates results into farm-by-farm transition plans, aggregated into portfolios that track each investment against measured gains.
Areas of application include regenerative agriculture, nature-based solutions and living labs, natural capital and biodiversity monitoring, carbon farming and dMRV under the CRCF, independent environmental monitoring and EUDR deforestation checks, climate resilience, and sustainable finance.
In European consortia, Reversa can act as technical partner, providing the data infrastructure needed to demonstrate impact; as independent monitoring and evaluation partner, delivering verified assessments and reporting for funders and authorities; or as coordinator. LandPrint is already operational, indicators can be tailored to each project, and new functionalities can be developed on demand.
The team combines scientific expertise in agroforestry and regenerative agriculture, international business and finance experience, and direct involvement in Horizon Europe projects, supported by specialists in biodiversity, agronomy, ESG and finance, plus a six-person development team.
