Founded in 1971, Hebron University (HU) is a non-profit Palestinian higher education institution located in Hebron. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across a broad range of disciplines, including science and technology, agriculture, medicine and health sciences, education, business, law and the humanities.

HU combines teaching, scientific research and community service, with a commitment to educational opportunity, social responsibility and sustainable development. The university encourages research that advances knowledge and responds to practical challenges facing Palestinian communities and the wider region. Its multidisciplinary academic structure supports collaboration across the natural sciences, agriculture, health, and social and economic fields.
