The Cantonal Forestry Administration of Zenica-Doboj Canton (Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina) is a public administrative authority responsible for the oversight, protection, and sustainable management of forest resources across the Zenica-Doboj Canton. Operating under the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry, the Administration is mandated to enforce forestry legislation, safeguard forest ecosystems, and ensure the long-term ecological and economic stability of public and private forest lands.

• Sustainable Forest Management & Protection: Monitoring forest health, executing silvicultural practices, preventing illegal logging, and managing forest fire risk and pest control.

• Regulatory Compliance & Cadastre Maintenance: Managing forest registries, tracking timber origin, maintaining GIS spatial data, and ensuring compliance with local laws and international standards (including EUDR / Due Diligence frameworks).

• Natural Resource Conservation: Promoting biodiversity preservation, soil and watershed protection, and sustainable bioeconomy practices.

• Project Implementation & Inter-agency Collaboration: Participating in regional, national, and European initiatives focused on climate change adaptation, green transition, sustainable forestry, and rural development.
