National University of Life and Envirommental Sciences of Ukraine (NULES)

The National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NUBiP of Ukraine) is a multidisciplinary higher education and research institution. Its academic and research activities span agriculture and agrobiology, agronomy, veterinary medicine, animal science, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture, environmental protection, land management, food science and technology, engineering, information technology, economics, law, design, humanities and education.

NUBiP brings together expertise from different fields to address challenges related to sustainable development, the use of natural resources, food systems, environmental protection and technological innovation. The University combines education, fundamental and applied research, and cooperation with public authorities, businesses, research organisations and international partners.

Within Horizon Europe, NUBiP is interested in contributing to interdisciplinary projects supporting the European Green Deal, climate resilience and the green and digital transitions. Relevant themes include sustainable agriculture and food systems; soil, water, forest and biodiversity protection; climate-smart production; bioeconomy and the efficient use of biological resources; clean and efficient energy; sustainable transport and engineering; digital technologies for environmental and resource management; and circular approaches to production and consumption.

The University can contribute academic and research expertise to collaborative projects through interdisciplinary research, education and training, analysis of sectoral needs, development and assessment of innovative approaches, and cooperation with relevant stakeholders. NUBiP welcomes partnerships with universities, research centres, companies, public bodies and civil society organisations seeking to develop practical solutions for a more sustainable, resource-efficient and climate-resilient future.
