Terraxis SRL

Terraxis SRL is a Brussels-based, public-benefit-oriented agricultural trade infrastructure company operating in Kenya. Through Plotra, we equip cooperatives with permanent digital systems connecting participatory farm mapping, production, regenerative practices, agronomic support, deliveries, processing, sustainability evidence, human rights due diligence, and trade.

Our focus is a practical gap: environmental and social progress at origin, often supported by development organizations, remains fragmented, poorly documented, and rarely translates into stronger market access. Certification programs often lack lasting operational infrastructure, while buyer-driven data tools extract information without giving farmers systems they can use. We reverse this: cooperatives keep operational tools and own their records, whether trade occurs or not, while downstream buyers pay for verified services when purchasing produce.

In Meru, Kenya, we are piloting with UGIMA, a women-led specialty coffee organization, starting with 100 farmers and aiming to reach 400. The cooperative is adopting regenerative practices and planning improved processing infrastructure.

For Horizon Europe NATURE, we offer a real-world implementation environment, participatory geospatial data, producer engagement, and market linkages connecting first-mile environmental and social outcomes to European sourcing. We seek partners in biodiversity research, restoration ecology, soil and water systems, Earth Observation, and impact evaluation.
