Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de Andalucía

The Federation

At present, Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de Andalucía brings together virtually all of Andalusia’s agro-industrial cooperatives. The federation comprises 617 cooperatives, which in turn represent more than 340,000 members. The organisations affiliated with Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de Andalucía account for over 60% of regional agricultural production, although in sectors such as olive oil this figure exceeds 70%.

Mission

The mission of Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de Andalucía is to promote, represent and organise the Andalusian agri-food cooperative sector, fostering a professional, large-scale, value-generating and competitive cooperative business model that contributes to improving the profitability of member farmers and livestock breeders and to the sustainable development of the agri-food sector and the rural environment.
