The Alliance for Nature develops high-quality collaborative work grounded in cutting edge science.

Our mission is to support the development of sustainable human activities while ensuring the protection and preservation of Nature for future generations. Our Alliance of like-minded companies achieve that by offering science-based innovative solutions. 

We are naturally very diverse and gather 1100+ staff from 32 nationalities, 40+ languages spoken, projects active or achieved in 100+ countries. We are naturalists, environmental engineers, ecology PhDs, in both terrestrial and marine environments.

Alliance for Nature companies are located on all 5 continents, with permanent presences in 13 countries (France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, UK, Australia, Morocco, Madagascar, Gabon, Guinea, China and Columbia).

Innovation and scientific Research 

At Alliance for Nature, we pool our expertise and resources to develop and bring to market innovative solutions for field data collection, data analysis and processing, insightful reporting. We develop and deploy advanced techniques such as environmental DNA, camera traps, bioacoustics on land and in oceans, radars, drones, high-definition aerial surveying by planes, remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS). We leverage the power of machine learning and AI to identify species on land and oceans and reduce risk of animal accidental deaths with human made infrastructure. 

Innovation is not just technical 

We develop and implement innovative financial schemes such as land compensation offerings to meet regulatory requirements, trust funds to ensure long term viability of protected areas and national parks, and nature positive credits (biodiversity, carbon, water, soil) on the voluntary market. 

Active contribution to civil society

Alliance for Nature companies are active contributors to local, regional and international environmental best practice and guidelines. We provide our expertise and capacity building capabilities to local and national regulators and international bodies from the United Nations and Multilateral Financials Institutions, such as the IFC PS6 and other international standards.
