About
WWF Central and Eastern Europe (WWF-CEE) is a strong Horizon Europe partner for Nature calls, combining extensive on-the-ground presence across seven Central and Eastern European countries with proven expertise in biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, species protection, stakeholder engagement, and policy advocacy. WWF-CEE works across some of Europe's most valuable forests, rivers, wetlands, and biodiversity hotspots, helping translate research into practical solutions, policy uptake, and large-scale implementation. With established networks spanning public authorities, local communities, civil society, businesses, and research organisations, WWF-CEE can contribute strongly to biodiversity monitoring, restoration living labs, transformative biodiversity governance, climate-nature synergies, invasive species management, and nature-positive innovation, while ensuring that project outcomes achieve tangible impact on the ground and inform policy at national and EU levels.
