Climate, Environment and Health Data Partnership
Science Leader on Climate Health Impacts at New Zealand Institute of Public Health and Forensic Science
Auckland, New Zealand
About
PHF Science could contribute to Horizon Europe partnerships at the intersection of climate, environment and population health, bringing expertise in public health, environmental health, population analytics, data integration and policy translation.
A distinctive capability is the ALMA digital twin, which can support integration of environmental, population and health data, scenario modelling, risk assessment and decision support. This could be combined with PHF Science’s work on climate and health, groundwater and drinking-water risks, environmental exposures, infectious-disease preparedness and population vulnerability.
Potential contributions include One Health research, climate–health risk modelling, linking environmental and health datasets, identifying vulnerable populations, developing indicators, evaluating interventions, and translating evidence into practical tools for public-health and local decision-making.
For the calls shown, HORIZON-NATURE-2027-03-01 looks especially relevant, with additional potential under the living labs, biodiversity monitoring, and ecosystem resilience topics.
