About

IDENER.AI Contribution to HORIZON-NATURE-2027-01-03: Systemic approaches to accelerate transformative change for biodiversity

IDENER.AI is an R&D-intensive SME based in Seville, Spain, combining deep-tech software engineering with in-house ecological research. We are seeking consortia to contribute to HORIZON-NATURE-2027-01-03 by bridging the gap between social/behavioral insights, policy/business decision-making, and empirical ecological outcomes through multi-actor digital solutions.

How IDENER.AI contributes to the topic scope & expected outcomes:

  • Ecological Grounding & Systems Analysis: Led by our ecological research team, we ensure that socio-economic, behavioral, and governance interventions are directly linked to empirical biodiversity data, ecosystem functioning indicators, and One Health/EU biodiversity frameworks.

  • Decision-Support Software & Digital Twins: We develop cloud-based decision-support tools, digital dashboards, and Environmental Digital Twins that aggregate multi-sectoral datasets (including natural capital accounting and corporate due diligence metrics) to assist policymakers and business actors in evaluating systemic risks and trade-offs.

  • Gamified Simulation Platforms ("Interactive Mini-Games"): We build custom, interactive simulation tools and gamified interfaces to model dynamic "what-if" scenarios, enabling stakeholders to visualize the impact of indirect drivers of biodiversity loss, test evidence-based interventions, and align routines with nature-positive outcomes.

  • Multi-Actor Co-Creation & SSH Integration: We lead structured participatory workshops, stakeholder mapping, and citizen science initiatives following Human-Centred Design (HCD) principles. This ensures that technical tools incorporate diverse worldviews, local/indigenous knowledge, and social/behavioral insights from SSH disciplines.

  • Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) & Sustainability Analysis: We perform comprehensive LCAs and sustainability evaluations to analyze business dependencies, value chain impacts, and circular bioeconomy pathways, helping private actors align business models with EU targets.

  • Spanish Field Sites & Pilot Facilitation: We offer access to real-world pilot demonstration sites in Spain (across terrestrial, coastal, and freshwater ecosystems) through established partnerships with local municipalities, regional authorities, and environmental managers.
