Omics data analysis partner for One Health research at the biodiversity–health interface
CEO & CTO at Datharsis
Granada, Spain
About
Datharsis, a University of Granada spin-off specialised in explainable omics data analysis, is looking to join a consortium as the partner responsible for omics data analysis and integration, either leading the data analysis work package or contributing specific analysis tasks.
What we offer:
-
Statistical design of the study from the proposal stage: factors, sampling strategy and sample size, to get more statistical power from fewer samples
-
Integration of omics layers (microbiota, metabolomics, proteomics, transcriptomics) with clinical, animal and environmental data
-
Interpretable models that show which variables link environmental exposures, biodiversity and health outcomes, validated with cross-validation and permutation testing
-
Reproducible, FAIR-aligned analysis pipelines
-
Access to DathaSuite, our analysis platform, so consortium researchers can explore their own data with the same methods
-
Training for consortium researchers in experimental design and interpretable multivariate analysis, through our DathaXplain programme
Our team has integrated microbiota, faecal and plasma metabolomics and clinical data in a paediatric cohort, and has applied the same methods to cancer, crop and ecotoxicology studies.
We are looking for coordinators and partners in ecology, veterinary science, public health or environmental science who will generate omics data and need a dedicated partner to design the study and analyse the data rigorously.
