Sabancı University

Sabanci University (SU) is a young foundation university with state-of-the-art instructional and research facilities located in Istanbul. Research activities at Sabanci University are conducted with an interdisciplinary approach in 3 Faculties, 8 Centers and 2 Forums so that academics and students can develop themselves in the fields of science, technology and art.

SU is recognized as one of the most innovative and research-oriented universities in Turkiye. As of March 2024, the active research funding size is nearly $56.4 M with 271 projects. 44% of the project funds have been generated from European Commission programmes, 26% from the national funding body TUBITAK, 17% from private sector, and 13% from non-profit organizations and universities.
