Site & Digital Twin of a nature Reserve
Head of innovation at UST
Barcelona / Madrid, Spain
About
We own the digital twin of a nature reserve (former quarry) and have access to the physical site for use as a demonstrator. The site studies rainfall, meteorology, groundwater, and distant weather impacts.
The running project showcases our expertise in:
-
Edge and swarm computing
-
Science-faithful digital twins
-
Resilient, adaptive, low-impact sensor networks with energy optimisation
-
Overcoming site constraints in connectivity and power
-
Disaster-ready local and cloud-linked digital twin mirrors
Our capabilities are portable and site-independent—partners can leverage our methods, software, and digital twin infrastructure with or without using the physical site. Ideal for hydrological modelling, resilient sensing, or disaster-prepared digital twins in any environment.
