Design Metal-Organic Framework (MOFs) for green energy

The importance of Metal Organic Frameworks has been recently acknowledged with the 2025 Chemistry Noble Prize. Through an appropriate selection of Metal and Organic Ligand, new MOFs can be created with properties comparable to the state-of-the-art commercial techniques. For instance we create a defective MOF that was better than TiO2 in the CO2 reduction.We use Computational Design to crystal engineer new MOFs with tailor-made properties
