Technology to help people helping and caring for animals using AI for interspecies communication.

Founder, CEO at Petnerup Inc

Toronto, Canada

About

Most animal biometrics are adaptation from human biometrics, which means they are not often practical. We are creating biometrics specifically for animals, which requires a more holistic approach: using static visuals, motion and audio combined. The goal is to create biometrics that closely mimics how one animal recognizes another from afar, quickly and accurately.

It will be helpful to have more than one researcher to accelerate the pace and to expand to other species quickly. The larger picture is to connect the masses to conservation and biodiversity through animals. This model and platform also aims to enhance human-wildlife co-existence by tapping into wildlife's instinct for survival to help warn us about impending natural disasters.

In short, it is about bringing the specialized research work with AI for animals to the masses so that practical applications for everyday people and everyday living are possible.
